New Features
============
- SAVE/LOAD: Unrestricted game save and reload.
Up to now, the game would automatically save a championship progress between races. It was however not possible to save during a race. This made endurance racing difficult for many players, as playing continuously for three hours or more is seldom practical. Not any more! With this new feature, players can save their in-progress race AT ANY TIME. The player can then load the save game, and resume the race from exactly where it was left off. There is no restriction to how many times the player can save. The save feature is available in Open Practice, Race Weekend and Championship events.
- MULTIPLAYER JOIN LOAD DELAY OPTION: No more join lag.
Whenever a new player joined a multiplayer race, the other players on that server would experience a momentary pause, or lag, while the new player's car is loaded, and synchronization is performed between the server and the new player. This would sometimes cause a player already on the server to lose precious milliseconds while working on improving a lap time. The server option to limit new players joining the practice sessions did go a long way towards relieving the annoyance that this would sometimes cause. Now, the player has the option to delay the loading and synchronization of the newly joined player's car, until such time as is convenient, for example, when the player is in the garage.
- TIME OF DAY PROGRESSION: Race through Day, Dusk, Night, and Dawn
The game now keeps track of the actual time of day, allowing the player to race at various time of day settings. The player can select to run this in real-time, where 24 hours equal 24 real hours, or set it to time-scaled, where 24 hours will be scaled to the race percentage value (3% - 100%). The proper scoring system for endurance racing is implemented as well.
- AMPLIFIED DAMAGE SYSTEM: Visual dents on cars.
In addition to the parts being detached during collisions, the cars will now display severe dents on the bodywork after colliding with other cars or track-side objects.

- Improvements to the Random and Season Weather system.
- Support for higher resolutions than 1600x1200 on systems where hardware supports it
- Darkness level slider for Night Time Lighting, allowing the player to control the level of light, from bright
moon-lit, to virtually pitch-black.
- Player's Track Statistics saved between race weekend sessions.
- Improved AI driving ability when navigating in the player's proximity
Multiplayer updates
===================
- Numerous improvements to the MP Lobby system.
- Fixed an anomaly where some players would experience a crash-to-desktop in the Lobby and when joining a race.
- Dedicated Server stability improvements.

Tracks updates
==============
- Enna Pergusa: Fixed an issue where certain tyre barriers were not visible at the lowest detail setting.
- Several graphic enhancements at Monza and Oschersleben.
- Proximus 24H Spa event added for Single Racing Weekend and as part of the Championship,
- Additional 3 hour variations of Spa added as special events. These are: Day, Dusk, Night and Dawn variations.
These are accessible from both Single Player and Multiplayer races.
Misc updates

- Improved Special Effects graphics
- Customized Special Effects for Time-of-Day variations.
- Fixed an issue where players would not see rain spray behind cars during rain.

Кроме этого, в той же теме проскочила инфа, что в начале следующего (наступающего) года, возможно вместе с мировым релизом, должен появиться нормальный dedicated сервер, способный работать без СД с игрой. Пока же для запуска выделенного сервера надо запускать сам игровой файл с ключом " +dedicated".
